This has since evolved to encompass an even wider vision, hence the current mission and vision as we hope to steer Africa’s growth which we recognise can only be done through enabling access to a world-class education and enabling intercultural exchange between Africa and the world.

Our Values
Afrizo College Consulting Ltd is a for-profit college consulting company that seeks to promote intercultural exchange between Africa and the world through college access and other educational programs. We achieve this through offering robust college counseling services for students seeking to study in the United States, unique and informative in-person college tours unlike what Kenya and Africa has ever seen before, and exceptional summer programs.
Afrizo students are paired with highly trained peer mentors from Ivy League schools and other world-class higher education institutions in the US who are fresh out of the application process for guidance throughout their college applications. The peer mentors, who bring in experience from various rigorous college access programs, are supported by a team of highly experienced College Admission Counselors who partner with and advise our specialized experts and departmental heads to assure the highest level of personalization and success.
Our college counseling model ensures that our students receive individualized support in every aspect of their college applications from university selection strategy, personal statement/essay support, supplemental essays, extracurricular mentoring, test prep, to interview prep and financial aid applications. Every application is reviewed individually in three different rounds before submission: highly trained peer mentors – specialized experts – highly experienced college admissions counselors.
At Afrizo, we understand that we are only as strong as our students’ results, and their extraordinary admissions outcomes are a testament to both their hard work and the expertise of their dedicated teams at Afrizo.
Unlike other consultancies, our highly trained peer mentors, skilled experts and leaders continue to work directly with students, sharing their extensive knowledge on all things to do with admissions both learned through their own college applications journeys and their extensive experience in dealing with student applicants from diverse backgrounds in different settings and highly reputable organizations.
Beyond their experience, our peer mentors offer the most comprehensive scope of admissions counseling in Kenya and Africa at large. Unlike other consultancies, we do not limit the number of essays we support our students with, and we provide a truly comprehensive application review, immigration support, and exceptional summer program services unlike any other witnessed in the continent.
At Afrizo, your peer mentors will oversee every single aspect of your application – and through our three dimensional application review plan our highly trained peer mentors, specialized experts and advisors provide joint reviews to make sure your applications are the best they can be before you hit submit.
Afrizo Access Program selects students – about 10 each year – through a lengthy rigorous process that considers their academic achievements, extracurricular accomplishments, demonstrated leadership, family background, and other personal qualities. We also partner with highly selective college access programs that work with high achieving low income students to identify unique cases. The selected students are then guided through the intricate web of college admissions and are equipped and supported to thrive in college through robust mentorship. Our aim is to help these students stand out above the ever increasingly competitive application pool – making sure they have every chance of achieving the success they deserve.
