Afrizo Access Program provides high achieving students who need financial support with expert admissions consulting services for FREE! We do this by ploughing back some of the proceeds/profits from our conferences, workshops and other programs through our services since we believe in the power of education in building a transformative society and high-capacity leaders.
What is the Afrizo Access Program?
- In 2023, Afrizo created the Afrizo Access Program. The program aims to provide high achieving students from low income backgrounds who need financial assistance with free access to Afrizo’s renowned US admissions support.
- In a mission to equalize the global college admissions playing field, we provide Afrizo Access Program students with teams of highly trained peer mentors and specialized experts who support them in perfecting every element of their US applications. These are supported by highly experienced College Admission Counselors who assure high quality applications. Our aim is to help these students stand out above an increasingly competitive application crowd — making sure they have every chance of achieving the success they deserve.
What kind of support do Afrizo Access Program Students receive?
Students selected for the Afrizo Access Program receive expert strategy and application mentoring services from Afrizo completely free of charge, delivered by our highly trained peer mentors and specialized experts who support students in crafting a compelling application narrative that maximizes their chances of admission to some of the best colleges in the US on full financial aid.

Who should apply for the Afrizo Access Program?
We are looking for students with:
- Strong extracurricular involvement, leadership skills, and academic honors
- Ambition, Drive, and Enthusiasm about achieving their highest aspirations at a US University
- Demonstrated financial need - particularly students from low income families and severely disadvantaged backgrounds
- A strong English background with demonstrated proficiency
Age:
- We are looking for fresh high school graduates who have completed school within one year by the time of application. In exceptional cases, students on a gap year with demonstrated leadership and drive will be considered

- We welcome applications from all around Kenya and indeed Africa as a whole!

FAQs
No, this program will only provide students with Afrizo’s admissions support services for free. Should they be accepted, it is our experience that the students get the necessary financial assistance to attend college from their colleges which are mostly need-based and full scholarships. We do not cover the cost of attendance to attend college.
Our application asks for details about your personal information, family background, academic background, extracurricular involvement, and includes essays that give you the opportunity to share your lived experiences, motivations and interests.
Yes, we mostly go for A students. However, we also take background into consideration so we highly encourage you to reach out should you have any extenuating circumstances. We look for students who have continuously excelled and continue to challenge themselves academically.
We care more about your interests, personality, motivations, life experiences and background than we care about a high level of sophistication or polish in your essays.
All results will be released by May every year
Selected students will be required to accept or decline their offer by a given date which will be specified in their letter of acceptance. Typically within 3 days after acceptance into the program.
Due to the high volume of applications, we are unfortunately unable to provide individualized feedback on unsuccessful applications
The program will officially begin in June every year. The accepted students will be notified of the exact dates which will be included in their acceptance letters.
